Your local newsagents or library have books that can be helpful.
The care and well being your horse/pony is a full time job. You should never leave halters, rugs or hoods/neckrugs on your horse/pony unless it can be checked at least twice daily. You should always check their water supply daily. Depending on where you keep your horse you will have a local Veterinary, Farrier, Dentist and Saddle Shops. Below is a small list that is applicable to PhillipIsland, Bass and Wonthaggi area.
